Welcome Back Wildcats 5K

WELCOME BACK WILDCATS!
The 5K Course (3.1 miles) starts and ends at Wildcat Stadium on the corner of Sullivan & Hooper Road in Baton Rouge, LA. Once the race is over, the fun will continue with a Post Race Party that will include live music provided by local band United We Jam, snacks, photo ops, and local vendor booths for spectators.  Come out and join the fun!

RACE DATE AND START TIME: Saturday, August 28th, 2021
                                                Kids 1 Mile Fun Run @ 7:40 AM, 5K Run @ 8:00 AM

COST: Race entry with shirt $35 (closes August 6th, 2021 at 9:00 AM)
          Race entry without shirt $25 (price increases after August 27th, 2021 at 11:59 PM CDT)
            *NEW* TEAM Registration $20 per team member, 5 member MINIMUM. No shirt included.
          *NEW* KIDS 1 Mile Fun Run $10.00 (open to ages 4-10)

Chip Timing: Your RFID timing chip will be attached to your race bib.
     *TEAM Participants are able to purchase the official race shirt!
     *All runners will receive a medal!
     *Family friendly after-party with snacks and beverages at Wildcat Stadium for race participants and spectators.

Participant Packet Pick Up:
PRIOR TO RACE: Wednesday, August 25th 6-7 PM. Pick up will be at the Central Middle School Gym at 12656 Sullivan Road, Baton Rouge, LA 70818
RACE DAY: Saturday, August 28th 7-8 AM. Pick up will be in Central Cross Threads at 13567 Hooper Rd, Baton Rouge, LA 70818

Age Groups: 1-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+

Awards: Top Overall Male & Female, & 1st Male & Female in each age group

The Race Benefits: Central Middle School Cheerleaders

RACE RULES
- For the safety of all participants, and for insurance reasons: No dogs in the race or the start/finish area
- No participants with leg or foot casts
- No exceptions to above rules
- Strollers are welcome

CANCELLATION POLICY
Per the running industry policy, all entry fees are non-refundable & entries are non-transferable. Once we receive and accept your entry, you will not receive a refund if you cannot participate, you may not give or sell your number to anyone else, and you may not transfer your 2021 entry fee to a future race. This policy applies to all entrants and is in effect whether you are injured, have an unexpected family/business emergency, have a medical emergency, etc.
